Trying this on for size...

As I am a virgin blogger- I hope everyone will pardon my novice ways and teach me more about sharing my life on the world wide web!

There is much that has already occurred in the Blake Packard household in 2012. The most important being our 5 month old Avalinne Joie has truly begun speaking...no we are serious. Among the goos, gaas, and spit laden rasberries, Linneey has begun to form papa and mama and cast them in our general direction.

We are about 90% sure that they are intended for us. Two nights ago we were awoken to a teeny tiny voice calling out mamamama papapapapapamamamapapapapapa. Although it was 2 am (again!) and my body was crying out- "No- don't do it- just let her self- soothe!," the thought of another child calling my name brought warmth to my heart and caused my will to weaken as I cuddled my beloved daughter.

And with all the babbling and talking shared with her extremly vibrant and vocal 2.5 year old sister- we are sure there will be many more sweet nights of awakenings from our little Jabber Jay- Avalinne.

I will do my best to update and post that which is truly critical for all the world, at least the world of the Packard family, to know about. We hope that all is well with you and yours and that this week brings many new adventures to pass along.

Tiffany Packard

Here is a video last night at the hospital in Vernal so everyone can see the darling little girl. I cannot remember any of the stats of Tiffany (weight, length, etc.) and that is why I filmed her tag in her cart so you can read it for yourself.

She is having trouble keeping her temperature up though so Jared and I administered to her that night.

Love you all.

The Truth

I learned the truth about life yesterday...

Life is. Life was. Life will be.

That's about the sum of it all!

Love you,
Bryce

P.S. - If you were hopeing I was going to elaberate on why life throws crap in your face sometimes I will tell you this... wipe it off quickly before it stains your outlook on life and your friends would fain be near you to have to endure the putrid smell of a crap covered face!

Dearest family, Christina is still very pregnant and is so ready to have this baby anytime now...but I also am getting a bit impatient to have this baby come. We both are very excited. My job at Boston Market as a manager(had to throw that in) has been very successful and have already been notified of my good work...this makes me very excited and happy!! Life just couldn't be anymore exciting.

This is going to be a better blog someday...

This is actually Bryce speaking from the heart of Michelle when I say, "this is so borring! There has got to be something going on in our lives and we really do want to hear about it."

Our family has just traveled from Illinois (by car!), Michelle just got back from shopping all day with her mother, I watched the kids and tried to build a laser using a laser diode from a dvd player I bought for 5 bucks from DI. I was excited because on youtube, the guy built one and it burned through balloons and started matches on fire! Alas, I was too fast for myself and ruined the laser diode after the pain staking art of dissassembling the dvd player, extracting the laser with 'mission impossible' skills, showing the kids how the little dc motors still generate electricity when spinned, I hooked the laser to my computer power cord... It is 18 volts but the laser is rated for 5 volts at most (I found this out after researching it online!) I should have checked this first. Oh well. It was still the funnest 5 bucks I have spent in a long time. The laser lit for a second and then died! I will try again someday.

I love vacation!!!

We are super sorry we missed the family camp out! I heard y'all had fun. It took us forever to get to Illinois. We pretty much drove all night and I decide I'm not for that...too tired. I think we will take it slower on the way home. We were going to leave an hour ago but alas our car is having a moment and we have to take it to a shop. We have no idea what's wrong but hoping whatever it is, is cheap. We'll find out soon enough. I am secretly pleased about the development, not because I want my car to be broken (that just stinks), but because I get to stay at my brother's house longer. After all we didn't arrive at his house until late last night. There is something good in everything.
Blake and Christina it sounds like things are going well...I hope it's the truth, and that baby and mom are healthy and well. You guys are so close, only like three more weeks. I'm super excited for you and love you tons. Jared and Jana, thanks for letting us crash at your house for a couple hours. We are kind of hoping that happens again on our way home. After all we still have to pick up Bryce's truck. Well...love ya and hope to hear from you soon.

Just wanted to say Hi and Happy Fathers Day

Hi...Happy Fathers Day to all you great Dads. We love you! I hope you are all doing something amazing today with your sweet families. I know we are...We had crepes for breakfast and I only messed up the first one, and we are having cereal for lunch. Talk to Bryce...he wanted it. Daniel was upset all morning that it was "Dad's Birthday" because he couldn't have cereal. I tried to tell him a billion times that Dad's birthday is not the same as Father's day...he didn't care...just wanted his cereal. He'll be really happy come lunch time. Well, love you all and hope to hear from you soon.
